Privacy should be
clear and specific.

When you submit a media-service request, we collect the brand or team name, promotion details, target audience, platforms, budget, timing, and contact details, and store them in a private database for service evaluation, creator research, outreach, and follow-up communication. They are not published as public posts. When a creator joins the collaboration program through the extension, we collect the public profile, account information, collaboration preferences, and contact details they choose to submit for internal review and future collaboration contact. Contact forms collect a name, contact method, topic, and message only to process and reply to the inquiry.

The Brand Deal Buddy browser extension reads public information on the current page only when the user actively opens and uses the relevant feature. For rate estimates, it may read the account name, username, profile URL, follower count, and public recent-content metrics such as views, likes, replies, and shares shown on the current Threads, X, YouTube, or TikTok profile, and send the data needed for the estimate to the Brand Deal Buddy pricing service. Public account information and contact details are submitted for internal review and future collaboration contact only when the user actively chooses to join the creator collaboration program. The extension does not read passwords, private messages, contacts, payment information, precise location, full browsing history, or non-public account content, and does not use this data for ad targeting or sell it to third parties.

Private contact details are not displayed on the public website or public interfaces. Contact details submitted through media-service requests or the creator collaboration program are used only for internal handling, outreach, and collaboration communication. If a brand and creator later need to communicate directly, contact details may be relayed according to the specific collaboration and applicable authorization.

After a media-service request ends, related private records may be retained for a period for follow-up communication, dispute handling, and necessary operational records. Creator collaboration program information is retained until the creator requests deletion, the information is no longer valid, or we no longer have a reasonable need to process it. Newly submitted private information is not written to public JSON files or public Git history. You can contact us to request changes, deletion, or withdrawal of relevant authorization.

We do not sell personal information. Media-service requests and creator collaboration program information are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database. Data needed for rate estimates is sent to the Brand Deal Buddy pricing service for calculation. Contact-form messages may be sent through a third-party email forwarding service. Infrastructure providers process the data necessary to provide their services under their own terms and privacy policies.

Creators are responsible for the profile, audience information, rates, introduction, and other information they actively submit through the extension. After joining the collaboration program, this information may be used for internal review, creator research, and future collaboration contact. The public website currently does not expose a creator onboarding entry point. If public creator profiles are offered again in the future, separate explicit creator authorization and internal review will be required. Private contact details will not appear in public interfaces or pages. Before a formal collaboration, brands and creators should still independently verify information provided by the other party.

The English browser extension and rate calculator fetch a public CNY-to-USD reference rate from api.frankfurter.dev only to convert the displayed estimate into USD. No creator profile data is sent to the exchange-rate service. If the service is unavailable, the English tools use a dated fallback reference rate.
